Four More Candidates to the SCP’s Selection and Evaluation Board To be Heard

Another four candidates for the Superior Council of Prosecutors’ (SCP) Selection and Evaluation Board were invited to the public hearings slated for 4-6 June 2024. They are the prosecutors Natalia Andronic, Vasile Buzu, Tatiana Gulea, and Ghenadii Pîrlii. All four are evaluated under Law No. 26/2022 and the Commission’s Rules of Procedures as to their financial and ethical integrity.

The hearings offer candidates the opportunity to clarify certain doubts identified during evaluation. In the event of a candidate’s refusal to attend the hearings, the Commission completes the evaluation based on the gathered information.

Mass media, civil society, and citizens can also attend the hearings as observers. A detailed hearings schedule shall be published upon attendance confirmations receipt.
