The Prosecutor Vetting Commission completed the evaluation of three candidates to the Superior Council of Prosecutors’ (SCP) Selection and Evaluation Board membership. The Commission concluded that Elena Demian and Mariana Gornea are compliant with the ethical and financial integrity criteria provided by Law No. 26/2022 and thus passes the evaluation. The third candidate Aliona Chisari-Rurak failed the evaluation due to non-compliance with the mentioned integrity criteria.
The decisions were sent to the candidates and the SCP. The Commission will also publish the decisions on its website if the candidates do not object to publication.
