The Prosecutor Vetting Commission has published the integrity evaluation reports for anti-corruption prosecutor Grigore Clevadî and Irina Catan, a prosecutor previously delegated to the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office. The reports recommend that both prosecutors pass the external evaluation and set out the relevant facts and reasoning underlying the conclusions of Evaluation Panel B.

On 4 December 2025, the Superior Council of Prosecutors (SCP) accepted the Commission’s reports and confirmed that both anti-corruption prosecutors passed the external evaluation. The publication of the reports complies with Law No. 252/2023, which requires that the reports be made public within three days after the expiry of the period for challenging the SCP decision.
The Prosecutor Vetting Commission was established under Law No. 252/2023 to carry out a one-time evaluation of the ethical and financial integrity of specific categories of prosecutors in Moldova, including the leadership of the General Prosecutor’s Office and prosecutors in specialized prosecution offices.
