On Thursday, April 23, the Prosecutor Vetting Commission conducted the hearing of Ion Pripa, Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, as part of the ethical and financial integrity evaluation procedure conducted under Law No. 252/2023.
During the public session, Evaluation Panel F sought clarifications on three matters:
- the difference between the purchase and sale price of a previously owned apartment.
- expenses related to renovation works for another apartment.
- the importation and use of a special-purpose vehicle.
“I made every effort to be transparent with the Commission and to provide all the information at my disposal. I hope that the circumstances discussed will be assessed fairly and objectively,” the prosecutor stated.
