The Prosecutor Vetting Commission approved its first evaluation report concerning the former delegated prosecutor to the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, Irina Toncoglaz, a subject of evaluation under Law No. 252/2023. The Commission concluded that the subject failed the evaluation due to her failure to submit the declarations and ethics questionnaire.
The evaluation report was sent to the subject and the Superior Council of Prosecutors, which is to take the final decision within 30 days of receipt of the evaluation report.
