The Prosecutor Vetting Commission completed the evaluation of the prosecutor Alexandru Nichita, a candidate for the Superior Council of Prosecutors’ (SCP) Selection and Evaluation Board. The Commission unanimously concluded that Alexandru Nichita does not meet the financial and ethical integrity criteria provided by Law No. 26/2022 and thus fails the evaluation.
The decision was sent to the candidate and the SCP. The Commission will also publish the decision on its website if the candidate does not object to publication.
