Final Public Hearings for Candidates to Superior Council of Prosecutors’ Boards

On 2 December 2024, the Prosecutor Vetting Commission will conduct its final evaluation hearings under Law No. 26/2022. The Commission will hear prosecutors Corneliu Popescu and Ion Tetcu, who are seeking membership in the Superior Council of Prosecutors Discipline and Ethics Board.

The hearings will take place at the National Institute of Justice (1, S. Lazo Street), according to the following schedule:

The public and media representatives may attend the hearings by notifying the Commission at the email address press@vettingmd.org, by Friday, 29 November, at 14:00. Notifications should specify the participant’s name, surname, and the represented organization, if applicable.

All participants must adhere to the established rules. Video recording, photography, or live broadcasting are not allowed. The video recordings of the hearings will be published on the Commission’s website and YouTube channel.
