Prosecutor Ion Bunica Fails the Ethical Integrity Evaluation

Prosecutor Ion Bunica, vying for membership in the Superior Council of Prosecutors’ (SCP) Discipline and Ethics Board, failed the external evaluation due to non-compliance with ethical integrity criteria provided by Law No. 26/2022. A decision in this regard was unanimously adopted by the Prosecutor Vetting Commission.

The decision was sent to the candidate and SCP and will be made available to the public only with the candidate’s consent.
