📌𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: The hearings scheduled for December 10 will be held in a partially closed format, in accordance with the applicable legal procedures.
The Prosecutor Vetting Commission announces the schedule of hearings for December 2025. The first two hearings will be conducted by Panel A on 10 December 2025:
- 10:00 – Vasile Plevan, prosecutor with the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office.
- 14:00 – Alexandru Machidon, Interim Prosecutor General.
Two additional hearings are scheduled for 15 December 2025 as follows:
- 12:00 – Gheorghe Borș, prosecutor at the General Prosecutor’s Office (Panel F);
- 12:30 – Gheorghe Iapără, prosecutor at the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (Panel B).
All hearings will be held at the National Institute of Justice, in public sessions, and audio and video recorded to ensure transparency. The recordings will be published on the Commission’s website within three days of each hearing: https://vettingmd.org/en/commission-activity/hearings/.
The subjects of the evaluation have the right to acquaint themselves with the materials in their evaluation files prior to the hearing. In addition, they can submit, in writing, additional data and information as well as provide explanations, at the hearing, regarding the doubts communicated by the Commission. They also have the right to be assisted by a lawyer or a trainee lawyer throughout the procedure.
