The Prosecutor Vetting Commission published the reasoned report on the evaluation of anti-corruption prosecutor Anatolie Ciuleacu. The report, which confirms that the prosecutor successfully passed the vetting process, sets out the relevant facts and the reasoning behind the conclusion of the Evaluation Panel A. As a reminder, on 25 November 2025, the Prosecutor Vetting Commission issued the evaluation report, and on 18 December 2025, the Superior Council of Prosecutors (SCP) accepted it confirming that Mr. Anatolie Ciuleacu successfully passed the integrity evaluation. The publication of the report complies with the provisions of Law No. 252/2023 and respects the legal deadline – no later than three days after the expiry of the period for appealing the decision of SCP.
The Prosecutor Vetting Commission was established under Law No. 252/2023 to conduct a one-time evaluation of the ethical and financial integrity of specific categories of prosecutors in the Republic of Moldova. This includes leadership of the General Prosecutor’s Office and prosecutors within specialized prosecution offices.
