The Prosecutor Vetting Commission has completed the ethical and financial integrity assessments of three prosecutors: Liliana Partole and Armen Oganesean of the Chisinau Municipal Prosecutor’s Office, and Nicolae Mătăsaru of the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office.
Following their assessments, Evaluation Panels A and B determined that Liliana Partole and Armen Oganesean, respectively, meet the ethical and financial integrity requirements set forth in Article 11 of Law No. 252/2023 and recommended that they pass the external evaluation.
In the case of Nicolae Mătăsaru, Evaluation Panel A determined that he does not meet the financial integrity requirements and recommended that he fail the external evaluation.
The evaluation reports have been provided to the prosecutors concerned and to the Superior Council of Prosecutors (SCP). In accordance with the law, the reports will be made public after the deadline for appealing the SCP’s decisions has expired or, if an appeal is filed, within three days after the Supreme Court of Justice issues a final ruling.
