The Prosecutor Vetting Commission completed the evaluation of the prosecutor Nicolae Zanevici, a candidate for the Superior Council of Prosecutors’ (SCP) Selection and Evaluation Board membership. The Commission concluded that the candidate is compliant with the ethical and financial integrity criteria provided by Law No. 26/2022 and thus passes the evaluation.
The decision was sent to the candidate and the SCP, the institution responsible for organizing the competition. Should the candidate do not object to publication, the decision shall be published on the Commission’s website.
The Prosecutor Vetting Commission was tasked to evaluate 32 candidates seeking membership in the SCP’s Selection and Evaluation Board and Discipline and Ethics Board. To date, the Commission has conducted 25 hearings and adopted 16 decisions.
